Direct Debit Giving is a low-cost payment method used to automatically transfer funds from an individual’s checking or savings account to the church’s bank account via the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is also called Direct Debit, Direct Payment or simply, ACH.  Direct Debit Giving will enable every household or individual to make their church offering using electronic funds transfer (EFT). You may already be using EFT to pay your mortgage, car payment or insurance premium through an automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account.

There is no cost to you for this new giving option. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your regular offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.

Debit/Credit Card Giving lets you make offerings automatically on a pre-determined schedule using a debit/credit card. Today, many families use debit cards as a convenient alternative to checks. There is a processing fee for using Debit/Credit cards and you have the option to pay this cost for the church.  Simply click the Online Giving link and follow the instructions.

Online Giving can be accessed to make one-time donations or to set up a schedule of automatic donations. By setting up a password protected profile, you will be able to log in at any time to make donations, change a recurring donation plan or view your personal giving history.

Note: To be tax-deductible, designated donations (those other than general tithes & offerings) must be restricted to a specific purpose fund or project established by the church council (i.e., building, helps, missions, etc.), and the church council must be able to exercise exclusive, discretionary control of the gift. Unused gifts for specific projects may be repurposed by the church council.

Gifts to an individual are not tax-deductible, but can be given anonymously through the church.
