VCC will be one of several host churches for this six-week study, which is sponsored by Mid-Valley Women of Christ. Recorded at the Orlando Deeper Still conference, Kay Arthur challenges us to faithfulness in difficult times, based on God’s faithfulness. Priscilla Shirer shows how confidence in God’s abundant ability forms the basis for that faithfulness. Finally, Beth Moore teaches on the discernment we need for difficult days. The study will be held here at VCC on Wednesdays beginning September 15 (ends October 20), 6:30 – 8:30 PM, in the Sanctuary. Childcare is available. Freewill offering will be taken. Mid-Valley Women of Christ is an inter-denominational affiliation of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our primary purpose is to link women who will reflect God’s love to others–drawing women to Christ through prayer, Bible study, and Bible based outreach events.

This retreat can offer you all of these things and MORE!

We’ll be retreating to McKenzie River Mountain Resort, east of Eugene where the McKenzie and Blue Rivers meet. The resort was once the Blue River Ranger Station compound. The cabins have all been remodeled with modern conveniences, yet they still have a cozy cabin feel. There is also comfortable bunkhouse lodging available.

Besides the community times of worship and encouragement, the retreat will also have workshops—including some just for fun, like crafts. Plenty of opportunity will also be provided for fellowship, games, personal reflection, nature hikes, shopping, site seeing, or whatever retreat means for you.

Please sign up at the Welcome Booth, if you are interested in going. Registration, along with a $25 deposit, is required to secure your spot. Don’t delay, space is limited! You can also make payments to VCC towards the retreat over the next few months, and full payment is due by September 12.
