Ministry Training

Ministry Training is a series of classes designed to equip saints for practical ministry and leadership in the church and marketplace. Classes are held Wednesday evenings, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM, beginning September 7, and concluding on June 6. The course is taught by Pastor Ed and a team of VCC leaders, using material by John & Sonja Decker. Students will be given the opportunity to exercise practical ministry skills learned during the class times. Classes continue through the year as scheduled:

God’s Gift: The Gospel, Baptism & Communion, September 7 (1 week)
Foundations of the Faith, begins September 14 (3 weeks)
Disciplines of the Disciple, begins October 5 (10 weeks)
Bible Basics, begins January 4 (7 weeks)
The Christian Life, begins February 22 (5 weeks)
Kingdom Living, begins April 4( 3 weeks)
Equipped for Leadership, begins April 25 (6 weeks)
Church Planting, June 6 (1 week)

Two seminars are also scheduled for the year:

Steps to Freedom in Christ, January 20 & 21
Prayer/Leadership Seminar, May 18 & 19

The seminars will be held on Friday evening (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM) and Saturday (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) either at the church or another nearby location.

There will be no class the week of Thanksgiving, the last two weeks of December (Christmas Break), or the week of March 28 (Spring Break).
