Ron and Debra Brown have returned to the field to serve the people of the South Island of New Zealand. The Browns are experienced ministers who have served for roughly 20 years in various positions, including as missionaries in Jalapa, Mexico, and associate pastors in the U.S.
The Lord has deposited the people and nation of New Zealand in the hearts of Ron and Debra, and they expect to serve there for years to come. Their assignment will include planting churches, training national leadership (who will pastor church plants and establish new plants) and establishing a network of Christ-centered drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs. They have “landed” in Christchurch, where the initial church plant will take place. They believe Christchurch will be the base for a leadership training center as well as the establishment of a “Celebrate Recovery” program.
The Browns have three grown children: Jonathan, Nicholas and Jena.
