The Lord deposited the people and nation of New Zealand in the hearts of Ron and Debra Brown over four years ago, and they expected to serve there for years to come. Then about a year ago, they were asked to consider a position in Papua New Guinea. Their response at that time was an unqualified “no”—feeling there was too much work still to be done in New Zealand. Over the course of the last year, they have seen things coming together, pointing to the end of their time in NZ. The Browns are experienced ministers who have served for roughly 20 years in various positions, including as missionaries in Jalapa, Mexico, and associate pastors in the U.S.
They have three grown children: Jonathan, Nicholas and Jena.
