December 22, 2024: The Birth of Jesus, God's Promise

Pastor Nicole shared about how Mary said yes, and partnered with God's plan for humanity is an example for us to say yes and partner with Him.

Reading from Luke 1:28-38 she showed us how Mary's yes...

To God's plans, purposes, and promises

Based on God's favor and blessing

Focused on God (rather than her own inadequacies or unreadiness)

Trusted the power of the Holy Spirit

Came out of a revelation that with God nothing shall be impossible!

Birthed God's greatest plan for the world!

And Mary said, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." Luke 1:38

Every time God invites us to say yes to Him the enemy will throw in doubt and fear to keep us focused on ourselves and not God. We can focus on Him through worship when we lay down the weight of our doubts and fears.

Pastor Nicole challenged us, "What will your YES to God be?" Because our yes will birth His greatness in us and the world around us.
