January 5, 2025: A Life Lived in Faith

Taking her text from James 1:1-8, Pastor Bonnie said that a life of faith is not something we just stir up during difficult times, but it is a daily lifestyle. Prayer and faith go hand in hand. God wants us to ask for wisdom on how to navigate through trials to produce endurance and maturity rather than ask for the trials to be removed. When we doubt it creates double mindedness, and we get tossed about like a stormy sea. But when we partner with God and utilize heaven's resources we can move forward, grow, and bear fruit in any season.
