February 2, 2025: Take Them and Learn To Run 6.0

To start, Pastor Nicole shared a new direction that the Lord showed her for our church. We are excited to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and see what God does in this new season and shift we will be making.

Continuing on with her series on how to run and finish our race well, Nicole picked up in Galatians 4:1-7.

She shared how we are redeemed from the law and are no longer slaves but are adopted as sons of the Father. We are His true children, and He gave us the spirit of adoption (the Holy Spirit) by which we cry out "Abba!" This denotes a trusting, intimate relationship with the Father where we are dependent on Him completely.

There is nothing we can do to be loved by Him more, and there is nothing we can do to lessen His love for us. Sometimes we may not believe this completely and it can hold us back from receiving the love of the Father.

To run our race well, we need to receive our sonship as sons and daughters of God and to do that we must receive the love of the Father. When we accept the love He gives, it fills us up to be able to love Him in return and love those around us.

We must walk in the revelation that we are true sons and daughters of God because of what Jesus did for us and receive all that we inherit from Him, when we do that, we look like Jesus everywhere we go.
