February 16, 2025: Take Them and Learn To Run 8.0

For part eight of Pastor Nicole's series gleaning the truths of scripture to learn to run so that we finish the race well, she took us through Galatians 5:1-15

These are the truths that she reaped from the Word for us this week...

• STAND FAST in HIS FREEDOM (not my freedom).

This life of freedom that Christ has provided for us and God calls us to live…. this life of freedom is birthed, paid for and sustained by Love.

• Our choice - the PROFIT of Christ or my DEBT to the LAW?

What currency do we want to live from in the Kingdom? Living indebted to the law, our own performance slows down and frustrates our race.

• Trail – LOVE of God – for Him, ourselves and others.

Loving God means we receive His love as well, and loving God means we love those around us. That is our foundation…this LOVE is the road we run our race on. Without the love of God, our race is hindered.

• Race killers – Lies that hinder our obedience to Christ (FREEDOM).

Believing even the smallest of lies affects the entire body.
